SplitVors ("we", "us", "our") is built by Vors Strategies. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you use the SplitVors bill splitter, the financial calculators on this website, or the SplitVors mobile app, and how that information is used.

1. Information we collect

Bill splitter (web). The web-based bill splitter does not require sign-up. The people, items, and amounts you enter are processed and stored locally in your own browser (for example, in local storage) so your split is remembered between visits. This data is not sent to or stored on our servers.

Financial calculators. Inputs to the EMI, SIP, Lumpsum, FD, RD, and CAGR calculators are used only to perform the calculation in your browser and are not transmitted to us or stored.

SplitVors app (Android). The app may store your groups, expenses, and balances on your device so the app works offline. Depending on the version of the app you use, it may also collect basic device and usage information (such as app version, device type, and crash reports) to help us fix bugs and improve the app.

Information you provide. If you contact us for support or feedback, we collect whatever information you choose to include in that message (for example, your email address).

2. How we use information

To provide the core functionality of splitting bills and tracking expenses.
To run the financial calculators and display results.
To diagnose crashes, fix bugs, and improve the reliability of the app and website.
To respond to support requests and feedback.

We do not sell your personal information.

3. Advertising

The SplitVors Android app may display ads served through Google AdMob to keep the app free. Google and its advertising partners may use device identifiers and other technical information to show and measure ads, in accordance with their own privacy policies. You can review Google's practices at policies.google.com/technologies/ads. The SplitVors website does not run ads.

4. Cookies and local storage

The website uses local browser storage (not third-party tracking cookies) to remember your bill-splitting session and calculator preferences on your device. You can clear this data at any time by clearing your browser's site data.

5. Third-party services

We rely on a small number of third-party services to run SplitVors, including:

Google Fonts — to load the fonts used on this website.
Google Play — to distribute and update the Android app.
Google AdMob — to serve ads within the Android app.

These providers may process limited technical data (such as IP address) as part of delivering their service, under their own privacy policies.

6. Data retention

Bill-splitting and calculator data kept in your browser or on your device stays there until you clear it or uninstall the app. We do not maintain a central database of your bills or balances.

7. Children's privacy

SplitVors is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Your choices

You can clear locally stored data at any time from your browser settings or by uninstalling the app. Because we don't hold a central account of your data, there is generally nothing for us to delete on our end beyond support correspondence you've sent us.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of SplitVors after a change means you accept the updated policy.
