These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the SplitVors bill splitter, expense tracker, financial calculators, and the SplitVors Android app (together, the "Service"), provided by Vors Strategies ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. The Service

SplitVors lets you split bills and track shared expenses with roommates, travellers, and couples, and provides free financial calculators (EMI, SIP, Lumpsum, FD, RD, CAGR). The web splitter requires no sign-up. SplitVors is free to use; some features of the Android app may be supported by advertising.

2. Eligibility and your account

You should be capable of forming a binding contract to use the Service. If SplitVors offers an account or sign-in option, you are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to violate any applicable law.
Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its underlying systems.
Reverse engineer, decompile, or scrape the Service except as permitted by law.
Use the Service to harass, defraud, or harm another person.

4. Not financial advice

The EMI, SIP, Lumpsum, FD, RD, and CAGR calculators are provided for general educational and illustrative purposes only. They use the inputs you provide and standard formulas to estimate results; they do not account for taxes, fees, changing interest rates, or your full financial situation. Nothing on SplitVors constitutes financial, investment, tax, or legal advice, and you should consult a qualified professional before making financial decisions.

5. Bill-splitting data

SplitVors is a convenience tool for calculating and tracking who owes what. We are not a payment processor and do not move money between users. Any settlement of amounts shown in SplitVors happens directly between you and the people you split with, outside of the Service. We are not responsible for disputes over amounts owed or for actual payments made or not made.

6. Intellectual property

The SplitVors name, logo, website, and app — including their design, text, and code — are owned by Vors Strategies or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use, but may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service without our permission.

7. Advertising and third-party services

The Android app may display ads served through Google AdMob to help keep the Service free. The Service also relies on third-party providers such as Google Play and Google Fonts. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of these third parties.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that calculations will be free of mistakes.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vors Strategies will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of money, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service, including reliance on calculator results or disputes over split bills.

10. Changes to the Service and these Terms

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service, or any part of it, at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time; the "Last updated" date above will reflect the latest revision. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms or misuse the Service. You may stop using the Service, or uninstall the app, at any time.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by applicable local law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence provide otherwise.
